» Drop the Bomb
(I originally wrote this song as sort-of a joke. My wife, Isabelle, however - loved it. So, here it is. My original thoughts were along the lines of The Archies meet Sigmund Freud. Forgive me.)
Drop the Bomb

When I was young I used to think about knowing all there was to know.
Somehow I just dropped the ball.
I never realized that I would wind up despising the chore.
What in this world was I thinking of?
When youre a child you never contemplate the consequence of wisdom.
I set myself up for a fall.
Now, I've seen the night. . .
And, I've seen the day.
We live for peace and die for war.
We stain our hearts. . .
And hesitate.
Accept the pain and cry for more
So, just Drop the Bomb.
Once in a while your life will dish out a portion of Bullshit.
So, stand in line for your share.
Just take your lumps and pray for another day to soothe it.
Too bad, you just cant lock the door.
Sometimes the mask you wear falls off and you cant hide it.
You just cant take any more.
Well, I've seen the night. . .
And, I've seen the day.
We live for peace and die for war.
We stain our hearts. . .
And hesitate.
Accept the pain and cry for more
So, just Drop the Bomb.
