My web site is my playground, for all intent and purposes. I’ve got music and home-recording info, commentary, photos, music downloads and lots of other stuff here for people to cruise.  I don’t get a lot of traffic… around 30,000 visits a month. But, in the end, I’m just a guy with a garage-studio who piddles about on the web.

I check my logs regularly.  It is fun to see who is visiting and, of course, I have to fight the spammers from spamming my comments and the hackers from hacking into my web site and posting “Death to America” stuff… One of the cool things about my stats system is that it will tell you which search engines people found you on and what keywords are being used to find you.

Which brings me to this.. For over a year now, the top search phrase used to hit my site from search engines has been “Fat People“.  Now, granted, in my photo gallery there are 3 or 4 pictures of fat people amoungst hundreds of other pictures. Yet, people looking for pictures of “fat people” make up the bulk of the visits I get from search engines.  The rest comes from people finding my site through links on other sites.

Now, seriously, WTF does that say about society in general?  I don’t know… but, it can’t be a good thing.
